A direct abutter from 88 Lake Street said the revised plan differs significantly from what was mailed to him, but said he has no objection if the drainage is satisfactory — his earlier runoff concerns were vindicated.

He later said he didn't know there was a garage under the ADU, worried about water pouring onto the driveway after heavy rains, and questioned whether the retention area can handle it.

He said he was never mailed the driveway, runoff or roof-design details, was not satisfied, worried about his basement flooding and mosquito mitigation, and asked why the addition couldn't go elsewhere.
